AMBER ORNAMENTS
This easy amber ornament DIY is a festive Christmas craft that shows you how to create ornaments that look just like expensive blown glass without the price tag or fragility. By tinting clear plastic ornaments with alcohol ink you can achieve the warm amber glass look for a fraction of the cost, and it's so easy even little ones can join in the fun!
I’ve always loved the look of amber glass ornaments but real glass can be expensive and honestly a little stressful in a busy home. Between kids, pets, and everyday life, I wanted something that felt just as special without the worry.
These DIY ornaments sparkle beautifully on the tree and look just like real blown glass, but they’re made with plastic, which means no shattering when my dogs inevitably knock one off while “helping.” They also make such thoughtful handmade gifts! You can customize the color to suit anyone’s style. I’m already dreaming of trying these in an emerald green for a vintage stained-glass vibe.
This is one of those simple, creative projects that’s perfect for a cozy craft night or keeping little hands entertained during the holidays. I hope you love this DIY just as much as I do!
